Our ultimate duty as believers in Jesus Christ is to honor Him, and it is our great privilege.
We serve a GREAT GOD who thinks enough of His people to give us the honor of serving this community.
“Where people are important, and Jesus is Lord!”
3 SIMPLE THINGS
Learn. Live. Lead. 3 simple things, but things so important to the folks at North Park. We want to learn all God has to teach us, and there is much to learn. While learning, we see the joy and benefit of a daily walk of faith as we live that which we believe. We also feel the responsibility to lead others to experience the same cycle of growth.
Teenagers and Children are so important to our ministry that we devote the majority of our building and energy to giving our families all the tools needed for raising godly kids. Find us in the Kids Zone or the NPYOUTH Building every time the doors are open.
MEET OUR PASTOR
David Murphy came to North Park in October of 2008 after serving in ministry with various Baptist churches since 1995. He and his wife, Jennifer, began vocational ministry at First Baptist Church of Nash, Texas and served there for three years as Youth and Education Minister.
November 2019 will mark our church for many years. The truth we will explore regarding the Body of Christ, the Church, is life and church changing. We all have a role to serve, and a mission to accomplish. We are saved to serve, and we serve through the church, the body of Christ.
Join us each week during the month of November as we study 1 Corinthians 12. We will look at Unity in Christ, Diversity in Gifts, Connection is Vital, and Service is our Response.
Prayerfully consider your role in the BODY OF CHRIST!

North Park Connection Suppers
Winter – Spring – Fall
When was the last time a meal changed your life?
When was the last time you sat across the table and had a meal together with someone new? North Park Connection Suppers are informal gatherings to get acquainted with others throughout our church community – our members, our regular attendees, and our guests.
It is no secret the community of North Park is experiencing growth year over year and God is bringing us together to serve in ministry. In the seasons ahead, let’s connect across generations and across our church to get to know one another in our homes. Three months at a time.
Opportunities to sign-up happen three times a year where you will be grouped with others you may not know very well. Your group of about six people will share a meal together once a month. Three meals over three months.
Go Make Disciples
Our purpose is clearly given to us by Jesus Christ and recorded in Matthew 28: 19-20.
We are to GO, and make DISCIPLES.
It is the vision and the heart of this church to
CONNECT the unconnected, STRENGTHEN families, and DISCIPLE with wisdom!
Connected In Christ
1 Corinthians 12:20-26
20 As it is, there are many parts,[e] yet one body.
21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” 22 On the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23 and on those parts of the body that we think less honorable we bestow the greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty, 24 which our more presentable parts do not require. But God has so composed the body, giving greater honor to the part that lacked it, 25 that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. 26 If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.
