Matthew 28:19-20 -

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.

And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

 

North Park is committed to being actively involved in this “Great Commission.” We view the application of Matthew 28 through the context of Acts 1:8. Acts 1: 8 prescribes sharing the gospel to the ends of the earth; locally, regionally, and internationally.

LOCALLY

North Park is involved in local missions through the continual witness of our members in the local community. We believe that the gospel is shared through relational discipleship. North Park has participated in many local missions’ programs over the years. We are still actively involved with Share Ministries and True Options Pregnancy Center as local partners for gospel-centered work. In addition to these partnerships, North Park continues to host an annual Vacation Bible School, Children’s Camp, and Youth Camp.  The Children’s and Youth Camps are often offsite at a gospel centered camp in the area.

REGIONALLY

North Park views our regional mission field as the United States. We are currently in a partnership with believers in Scituate, Massachusetts. North Park supports Scituate First Baptist Church financially, and through short-term mission teams. Our desire is to help them share the gospel in their local community in alignment with Matt. 28 and Acts 1.

 

INTERNATIONALLY

The Lord also continues to open doors for international mission trips.  Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Sierra Leone include some of the countries to which North Park members have traveled and ministered.

North Park member Rob Casey is the president and founder of “GoSendMe Global.” GoSendMe is a mission’s organization that recruits, trains, and sends out missionaries across the world. GoSendMe also gives continual training and support to missionaries already on the field. Through GoSendMe Global, North Park has a supports mission work in over 30 countries.
